Resetting the Default Site Administrator

When Visual Signature Capture is installed, VSCAdmin is created as the default Site Administrator and comes with a default password. VSCAdmin can be restored if accidentally deleted. It is also possible to reset the default password for VSCAdmin if necessary.

To restore VSCAdmin or reset the password:

1. Login as the Application Administrator.
2. Locate the customer that needs the VSCAdmin restored/password reset. Click on the Edit button associated with that customer.
   
3. Click the Reset Admin button associated with that customer. Answer “Yes” to the confirmation dialog box that appears. A message will be returned indicating that either VSCAdmin has been successfully created or that the Admin password has been reset depending on what operation was carried out to reset the Site Administrator.
